And Another 2 Months Later......

I'm getting worse and worse! It's difficult to keep up your blog when the main thing you do all week long is work and work and work and work. I hardly go out much, apart from going out with Dru... Every now and again we go out with friends but I hardly take photos much and it seems so boring just talking about how the night went.

Just this weekend past, Rob, one of Dru's mates, had a birthday celebration. He organised for a session of go-karting at Kartatak. I've only been go-karting once before in Melbourne, but that was 3 years ago...

However, Sung (once again) dislocated his shoulder that morning. This was his fourth time! He's waiting for a shoulder reconstruction in October. Poor, poor Sung.... If you've ever been go-karting, you'll know that it takes both hands to grip the steering wheel and steer properly. Even with 2 hands it is really tough and everyone's arms were hurting afterwards. So Sung was definitely out for go-karting. He was also supposed to be our designated driver for the night, but obviously, he couldn't drive that night, so everyone had to work something else out and I drove myself and Dru instead.

It was heaps fun though!

I've got more photos than that but some are a bit blurry and all the rest are similar except with different people in the photo. It's Dru in that photo there. I've got a few videos too, except I don't know how to post those up in a way that you can view it... If anyone knows how, please let me know!

After go-karting, we went to Cafe Pacifico, a Mexican restaurant in East Sydney, for dinner. Finding parking was a bit of a bitch. Luckily we squeezed in between a car and a driveway on a sidestreet close to the restaurant.

It was a really nice place, the food was pretty yummy too.

I didn't take any more photos of food afterwards as I was too busy stuffing my face with food. We were sooo hungry after that go-karting session!

And lots of drinking was occurring. Sangrias and tequilla shots!

I got so excited when chatting to Jackson at one point that I spilt Dru's red drink all over his leg and mine... even though I only drank one drink the entire night. How bad is that? I wasn't even drunk!

Robs had like sooooo many shots of Tequilla! But was still standing by the end of the night, so the alcohol wasn't as strong as we thought it was.

Out came the party poppers! (Is that what they're called?)

It was a good Saturday night!

We were supposed to go back to Marie's place for poker but Dru and I had to head off to his place to pick up some Johnny Walker and I knew it would be a bad idea. When we got back to his place, we were soooo buggered we didn't bother going back out to Marie's as it was a good 20minute drive to her place... I was heaps tired and Dru wasn't legally allowed to drive. Plus I had to work the day after on Sunday. And I needed to sleep - my eyes were slowly gluing themselves shut on the drive home.

After work on Sunday, I drove back to Dru's place and gosh was I tired! I was micro-sleeping the entire drive down... so bad of me, I know!! I thought that when I got to Dru's I could get some good sleep, but nooooo... Sung rang and said he wanted to go watch the footy at Canley. I should've stayed back and slept but I went along with Dru anyway.

Why?

I don't know. Now that I think about it, it seemed pretty stupid of me to go out. I should've just gone to sleep!

On Monday, Dru's mate Tam and his fiance Leanne threw an engagement party at the Eastern Bar in Bondi Junction and we had another really really late night. This time Dru offered to drive so I drank... and drank and drank and drank! I actually drank so much that I felt sleepy enough to sleep on the couch in the bar. How embarrassing! I hope no one took any photos of me while I was passed out on the couch!

Anyway. I think that's enough for me for the night. There's another engagement party coming up this Sunday. Plus, I'm picking up my brand new Toyota Yaris YRX this Saturday!
